Watchfaces, weather & wearable customisation with Notify
Make the watch you already own feel more like yours. Explore supported watchfaces, put useful shortcuts within reach and adjust the everyday settings that make a small screen easier to live with.
Notify exposes supported watchface, display, menu, weather and device controls for your paired wearable. It also lets you customise the Notify phone dashboard, widgets and status notification.
A new look, with the details you want
Browse and filter available watchfaces, keep favourites and upload a compatible file. Supported templates can use your own background photo. A default watchface can be restored after features that temporarily display a picture. Always select the exact watch model: Active, Lite and Pro variants can use different formats.
Make the screen work with your routine
Where the firmware permits, adjust brightness, wrist wake, screen timeout, night mode, Do Not Disturb or always-on display. Supported watches also offer removal locks, notification screen-on controls, clock/date formats and unit settings.
Bring the useful controls closer
Reorder supported watch menus, the More menu, swipe shortcuts and watch widgets. On the phone, arrange Notify home sections, choose a theme and configure widgets or status-notification buttons. Phone widgets and the watch's own widgets are separate features.
Choose how weather reaches the watch
Set a fixed location or use supported automatic location, then choose the available weather source and refresh interval. Options in Notify include ECMWF, OpenWeather, external weather apps and Tasker. OpenWeather setup requires your own API key; the other methods have their own requirements. Available weather fields differ by source and watch.
Keep the connection understandable
Device information, find-watch controls, reconnect options and diagnostics help you manage the paired wearable. Advanced screens expose supported sensor tests, app installation and firmware/resource tools. Their presence does not mean every file or firmware is compatible: follow the model-specific guidance before using an installer.
- Inspect live sensor data
- On compatible devices, the sensor test shows live motion-axis graphs and lets you export the captured readings as a CSV file. It is an advanced inspection tool; available sensors and simultaneous tracking depend on the watch.
Common questions
Can Notify install any watchface on any Mi Band?
No. Watchface formats are model-specific and some firmware restricts uploads. Choose files for the exact device, including its Active, Lite or Pro variant.
Do weather updates always need an API key?
No single requirement applies to every source. OpenWeather uses your own key; Notify also exposes other weather sources and external-app or Tasker methods with different setup requirements.
Can I change the order of watch menus?
Notify provides menu, shortcut and widget controls where supported by the paired watch. The options shown and accepted depend on its firmware.
