Huawei new Notify 2022 app migration tutorial
Due to a problem with Huawei App Gallery, we have to publish a new Notify app version on Huawei App Gallery and remove the previous one.
New official Notify app versions are:
Notify for Mi Band
Notify for Amazfit
How to migrate from old to new app version
Follow these steps to migrate to the new app version (including license) easily:
- Prerequisites
- Export a backup from the old Notify app version and save it on your phone
- If you have bought the license, check it is activated and working fine
- Suggested: close/kill the old Notify app version
- DO NOT uninstall old Notify app until migration process is completed

- Install new App
- Install the new Notify app version
- Start the new app, and choose Import backup in the first welcome screen (pairing screen)
- After you imported the backup, app will close automatically
- Re-open the app again and check everything is working correctly, including band connection
- Restore license on new app
- To restore the old license, open main left menu, tap on Restore license
- App will automatically check for available license migration, if success you will see a message confirmation
- Tap Continue to complete license activation. App Gallery will show payment dialog, but price will be 0
- Finish
- Done, migration is completed. You can uninstall old Notify app
